Hit your buttons in an adequate rotation. That's all things like expert roulette, and other casual content require to not be considered "too slow." its not very hard.
That rating is based on how well you execute that boss's mechanics. I.E. port n star, fore n aft, killer instinct, etc. I've gotten the best rating after soloing that boss down from 40%.I like how you get a speed rating for how quickly you killed the second boss in the Temple of Fist, because it actually feels reasonably difficult to get the best rating.
Part of me kind of wishes they'd have rewards for speed clearing content, but I feel like that could possibly breed just as much toxicity as a parser.
The NPC being snarky with you if you don't do well is pretty fun, really. It's reactive feedback but doesn't cause a lot of problems if you have issues with the fight.I like how you get a speed rating for how quickly you killed the second boss in the Temple of Fist, because it actually feels reasonably difficult to get the best rating.

Actual rewards are going to lead to people getting pissed off if you get a newbie to the dungeon and they mess it up. That's the exact opposite of what we should want as a community.

Wait, that's a thing? I never pay attention to those NPCs in dungeons...I may just have to start.I like how you get a speed rating for how quickly you killed the second boss in the Temple of Fist, because it actually feels reasonably difficult to get the best rating.

People getting pissy with newbies in casual content happens a lot less often than you'd think. Especially when those newbies ask questions or for tips (like they should) rather than silently messing up over and over again.
That can change real fast when they go slow to ask those questions and cause you to lose a time bonus loot thing as a result, though. That's the issue with it.

Thank you. That's the question I've had stuck in my head but couldn't put into words. Is the community really ready to give up their loot/reward for sake of someone's improvement? Seen it more segregated on many games. For SE part, it's more limitation to how they are going to attract new players.
The only casual "time bonus loot" thing in this game that is on a timer before you engage it is the daily roulettes/ weekly tome cap. Ask your question before the pull, ask your tank for a second before they pull. As everyone loads into the dungeon: "please explain any important mechanics before we go." It is nowhere near as hard as you're making it out to be.

I assure you the part that makes dungeons slow is people not being able to execute a basic rotation either single target or aoe. It is not a 15 second break down for the rare boss mechanic that actually requires explanation.
