The fight is too 1-shotty. Same thing that made most of Coil frustrating, to be honest, except Coil had a smaller group + time limits on the fights, and therefore smaller allowable margin of error.

Ah yes, that's what I wanted to add to my post there. Thank you for pointing this out.
I can't speak for everyone when I say this but for me, its a whole lot harder to learn mechs from a fight that oneshots people. Especially if you have either a hard time seeing it or just can't see it at all. That's why I prefer mechs with vulnerability stacks. Vulnerability stacks, I feel, are an effective punishment because they cause dmg and basically tell you the next time you mess up, its going to hit harder. So you're basically given more chances to learn from the mech than just being swatted like a fly.
This is aimed mostly to mechs that more or less lead directly to wipes. I'm not referring to dps check mechs that lead to wipes.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
