    I'm sorry but I'd have to disagree that it being "too 1-shotty" is a bad thing. Other fights don't punish mistakes nearly enough and when a fight does you get people complaining that it should be like every other fight. Vuln stacks don't punish anyone unless you get like 3 or 4. Before that? People generally shrug it off and leave it to healer to top them up. And if you decide to not ignore mechanics between vuln stacks you just reset them meaning you can go back to ignoring everything.

    People get away with being lazy or having tunnel vision too often in this game. Even casual level things should require you to pay attention and do the things.

    I agree with what you're saying and while I'm not advocating to remove 1-shot mechanics, I do have to point out that for people who can't grasp the 1-shot mech and keep getting hit by them just leads people to learn from external sources. Like me lol.

    I mean, its either that or poke the next guy in my party and hope he knows how to dodge it. And its not like 24-man raids have all day to let you take your time to stand around and see the train coming at you so that you can be ready for next time. So for some, they're not gonna learn from the fight directly. Survivable but consequential dmg on the other hand is the kind of learning tool lets you do that imo. Especially if the punishment is aggravating that it can still lead to a wipe if you get into it again.

    Again, the greater issue with 1-shot mechs is figuring out where it comes from. Dying instantly at something that barely registers your screen and doesn't give you enough time to pick up on clues leaves you puzzled and you can't really improve on information you don't have.

    I'm sorry but I'd have to disagree that it being "too 1-shotty" is a bad thing.
    My opinion is that if a fight has to rely on 1-shots to be difficult, it's not well designed. So yeah, I'd say it's a bad thing, personally.

    This is very dependent on the fight. I know in O2S when my group was struggling to begin to consistently win it, the healers were complaining about people who would take even one vuln stack because that often meant the people on the lower side of HP would end up just being 1-shotted by Gravitational Wave (or whatever that regular room-wide attack is called). It already hurts enough without any stacks.

    Agree with this 100% One shot mechanics are generally a bad idea.

    Yeah, I see where you are coming from as well. It can be hard to determine what killed or whatever but in those cases I would generally ask. But yeah, I can see why some people would have a hard time learning a fight if everything kills you out right.

    Randomly spacing out during the pillar phase, lol. Didn't happen that often though. I died more to the aoe damage when healers were too slow to aoe heal.

    It's so 1-shot prone because healing is too strong. Most stuff in expert doesn't one shot you and the result is that healers can just drag people through it, because it's so easy to burst everyone back to full HP. If stuff in Hashmal doesn't kill you, us healers would just heal you back up in seconds and you'd never die.

    They need to significantly nerf all healing output if we want to see more fights that can really threaten you without one shotting you.

    You realise that would make some Savage encounters near impossible right? I wouldn't want to do Neo Exdeath's Almagest where everything is spent while our healers are nerfed because the content for the casuals is too easy.

    I feel like it's clear that Tridis' suggestion of a nerf to healing potency would require adjustments to Savage damage output as well. To suggest otherwise simply because something obvious wasn't explicitly stated seems sort of nearsighted to me.

    Can't be too careful. I doubt many forum players even do savage so they might not be aware of the harder hitting things in the game and basing their experiences only on the faceroll content.
