am i the only one who really want more "human size" epic boss fight?

maybe because i play too much RPG or i just bored with it but, giant enemy boss fight didnt give me that "impact" anymore, sure it worked 1-3 times but over and over?

i actually had more fun when the story unfold and put me into "human size" enemy boss like estinien back in vanilla or zenos in SB, i actually got goosebumps when i fight zenos in Ala Mhigo DG, when the fight is over and zenos run to backyard, i though we going to have an epic story mode one on one boss fight as finale.

but instead we got the usual giant enemy boss which bumped me out.

Variety is the spice of life. Honestly I think a mix is good. Human sized bosses are often problematic for raids due to it being harder to track them under all the players but in dungeon fights and such they can be pretty cool. The last boss of Doma Castle was another example I think.

As an MMO, major fights are designed around having a party since no one class can do it all (tanks can take a lot of punishment, but can't heal themselves and have below-average damage output; damage dealers can dish out a lot of punishment, but can't take much or heal themselves; and healers can heal themselves, but can't deal too much damage or take much punishment). While individual class battles are easy to design and balance, a storyline boss that everyone fights regardless of class would be a nightmare to implement while still making it challenging.

Case and point: during my short time playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, I had a very rough go of many of the storyline bosses.
Each class had its own storyline and act bosses, which was cool. The problem was that each class also had two (maybe three?) specs, and the story act bosses were tuned only for one specific spec. This made some of the act bosses an utter nightmare if you weren't using the tuned-for spec; maybe it's just because I suck, but I absolutely could not defeat the Jedi Knight Act 1 boss (tuned for tank, played as DPS) and had to resort to kiting the Sith Inquisitor Act 1 boss (tuned for ranged DPS, played as melee DPS) for a win.

You'd get very much the same problem with a solo boss here. The "Brilliant Conviction" buff does allow for these sorts of fights, but in my experience it makes them laughably easy if they're intended to be won.

So... the big bosses that 4 - 24 people can see are just a necessity of the genre, I suppose. Even Zenos is bigger than just about any player character (due in part to his armor making him look fat, but I digress).

    Zenos doesn't look 'fat', though...

Zenos' physique is similar to his father's build. They both wear armour, too, though it's clear they're heavily muscled with broad shoulders, a beefy chest and thick limbs. Even Cid, who is rather short for a Pureblood Garlean is possessed of thick muscles.

Has the Garlean devil's advocacy gotten so strong that you're gonna make a fuss about someone making a passing comment about a character's extreme bulkiness?

Zenos' posterior is pretty darn big. (Image from Reddit)

Yeah i can see what you mean by that, even against human size boss. They somehow still manage to make it “big” for some reason, like in doma castle final boss.

Could just be the Dark Souls thing. "Size denotes power" and all that.

Now, now - let's not blow things out of proportion or resort to false conspiracy theories! It was a passing correction at most.
