The BNYC Goobbue Racing Extravaganza

Do you love goobbues? Are you one of the many who will rush to log in and get your goobbue mount as soon as possible after patch 1.20b goes live? Are you looking for an opportunity to share with other goobbue enthusiasts?

Well, my friend, you are invited to come on out and join us for the first ever BNYC Goobbue Racing Extravaganza. This weekend (January 21-22, 2012) the BNYC linkshell on the Istory server will be hosting a number of goobbue races at random intervals for fun, comraderie, and maybe even small prizes. The BNYC invites any and all goobbue enthusiasts to come out and join the fun.

The format for each race will follow this structure.
- Fifteen minutes prior to a race, a shout announcing the race and the starting point will come down in Ul'dah. A five minute "last call" shout will also occur.
- A BNYC official will be at the starting point to announce the finish line and give the "ready, set, go".
- A BNYC official will be waiting at the finish line. The first racer to arrive atop their goobbue and initiate a trade with this official will be declared victor.
- The victor will be announced via shout in Ul'dah.

The BNYC is only responsible for the actions of those affiliated with the BNYC. As stated, the purpose of the event is primarily for fun and comraderie. If prizes are involved, they will not be worth enough to warrant cheating, so let's keep it honorable.
