The foreign side of the forum also just asked if they will have their own original music, so everyone is wondering about same thing, I checked in on this one and it will indeed be a new original music made by the sound team.

広大な草原に佇むデッカイ灰色の巨体。
凶暴って思われがちだけど、ただ単に力が強すぎて不器用なヤツ。
って感じじゃないですかね？グゥーブーって。
あくまで個人的に思っただけですケド！
そんな憎めないデカイやつと共に
広い荒野を疾走するプレイヤーのイメージって感じです。
（疾走感といってもチョコボの疾走感とは全く違います）
A large gray body living in a large plain field, everyone thinks he's dangerous but actually he's just too powerful and clumsy... isn't that what Gobbues are like?
That's just my personal view!
Players image is is like running full speed through the large field (when saying full speed it's much different from Chocobo's feel)

優しく力強いグゥーブーの「背中」”
です！
Strongest image is "Kind and strong Gobbue's back standing in a plain while the sun is setting"!
また、グゥーブー騎乗中のBGMのイメージについて、サウンドチームの祖堅からコメントをもらってきました。

先日のスクリーンショットに続いて動画でもご紹介できるよう素材の準備を進めているところですので、もう少々期待に胸ふくらませておいていただけると幸いです。

Does this mean that gobbues will be much slower than chocobos?

If so, what advantage does the gobbue have over the chocobo?

Will it have a stoneskin effect on us since we are so high up that it will take the damage for us for a bit? Or will it have the ability to not be "lamed" like the chocobo mount?

I'm sure they wont be slower, it may appear to be moving slower since their strides may be bigger than that of a chocobo.

I think that "Much different from chocobo feel" means that since it is so large, it won't appear to be running as fast, but it will be the same speed.
