    Yes, there are skip potions now that you can use. However, it’s expensive so if you don’t want to read all those story and lore, just skip them. If you don’t mind reading story and plot, I have to say enjoy it. Even though an MMO, it is still a final fantasy game and therefore story is one of its best features. I myself like the story and just keep waiting for the next patch just for it to continue. TIP: when you reach the 2.x MSQs, don’t count them, it will make things seem longer to you.

    Take your time, and enjoy it. There's a lot of content on the way to 70 and you shouldn't have trouble finding people to play with. Yes, the NEWEST content is at level 70, but being a new player it's ALL new to you.
