I think by simple, he doesn't mean easy, but rather that the concept for the achievements are too simple and need more interesting variety. (or maybe I'm just projecting what I'm hoping for. Other MMOs have had better achievements to use specific gear against a boss, or to go a run without being hit by X skill ever, etc.. than to just complete something X amount of times)
