Even if PS5 existed they would say the same crap about needing PS6 etc

People love to crack about console limitations, yet they literally told people they might need to upgrade their PCs for Stormblood. . .

They eliminated PS3 at the same time, so it's not surprising that the PC minimum might go up with it. The game is pretty easy on requirements, honestly. You don't even need a gaming PC to play it, a laptop with a real GPU can do it, and you can get those at Costco.
But yeah, the idea that the PS4 is holding them back is downright strange. That thing is a beast. It's more powerful than my PC.

If the game required hardware for at least minimum 30 fps, more people wouldn't be able to play.
the ps4 isn't that powerful, they were just able to optimize for it, i'm not really surprised they think it has issues, especially since, in the CPU department, the PS3 was stronger.
Pretty much the only things they did in regards to minimum recommended specs was update the list with current hardware, and not obsolete, ancient hardware. they didn't really change anything other than that. It was talked about at the fanfest, if i remember right, that it was more a "no one would go out and buy something with this in it anymore, so now its more accurate for todays purchasable hardware"

No, it's not. People love to say mythical things about the PS3 CPU, but the PS4 crushes it at everything except very specialized tasks for lower cost. Why do you think Sony threw out the PS3's cell architecture entirely with the PS4 instead of iterating on it (and for that matter, why do you think IBM abandoned it)?
Answer: Ask any developer who had to work on it about how great it really was and get ready for them to rant.

as a CPU, the Cell is superior. the GPU and memory is what held the PS3 back in modern applications. No, it's not. There are still some ps3 games that look better than modern titles.
About the 33rd largest supercomputer in the world right now is the US Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) newest system, which has a core made of 1,760 Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) consoles (2010)

blah blah "savage is so easy why arent they making it harder"
...census shows maybe 5% or less of NA on most servers clear OS4, and maybe 1000 people total Savage coil. The whole raid puffery gets old after awhile.

Actually 7% of players on NA have cleared Neo according to LuckyBancho’s last census. May want to get your numbers straight before you jump into a discussion about it.

wow, 2% off. Like that matters. Face facts, the vast majority of people in this game barely clear the hardest raid, yet alone complain its too easy. But so many people talk down difficulty on forums despite every single time they actually made raids harder than the current tier, completion dropped like a rock. If they listened to raiders and made it harder again, all that would happen is the pug scene would die and all the forum talkers would be wondering why its so hard to fill or replace static members. raiders in this game are idiots, give them have a chance, and they'd beg for gordias back to assuage their egos
because people like you whined and moved en masse to gilgamesh because you couldn't handle it being harder. You're assuming the lot of you could even deal with raised difficulty; you couldn't with gordias, nor with midas, and if they increased it, you'd not be able to deal with it again. Challenge, hell. People here complaining about it being easy when hard literally killed the raid scene and took not just easing savage difficulty down with the last tier of HW, it took a big streamlining of the entire pve rotation too.People are upset because it's once again the devs taking our content and dumbing it down for people who can't be bothered to improve. First they took away story since they wasn't fair to non-raiders, then they gradually reduced to the difficulty. Now it's reaching a point where raiders have Ultimate and the last boss of Savage. Apologies I happen to want a challenge that doesn't still roll over after twelve deaths (Hi, Alt Roite).
You don't want the more casual oriented content to get harder. So why are you allowed to tell us to "get over it" when you'd be crying how unfair it is if dungeons required more than a pulse?
