Is there any better way of reporting Bots?

yeah they get banned and make another account and bot lvl that up then bot farm everything but after the if your paying for a new sub and having your bot banned after a few days you might not want to do it again because its starting to become expensive and nonviable. but not banning them at all well hell everyone might as well run a bot.

Like we have proof that bots arn't getting band so the only message it sends out is everyone might as well bot and we will make the game even more trivial

Actually... You be surprised, most of the people who Own bots don't care about the sub and stuff so they won't be thinking "I may no Wana do it" , allot of MMO have declare war to Bots.... No a single one has won, hell WE ended worse then the bots because it came to the point the innocent player where getting ban.
I'm no defending Bots, but logic won't work. Is just gonna Become endless war where we never gonna get stuff to play seeing as XIV money limited by SE.

We lose to the bots when players don't get features they want do to RMT exploiting them. Such as mailing items to our own characters.

Overall, it really feels like SE lacks both the tools/resources and concern to properly track and ban bots.

I seriously doubt the gil sellers would be much of an issue if they were actually tracking where the farming bots are sending the gil to and purging the main "bank" account that holds all of the gil, rather then just the expendable farmers and transaction accounts.

How about a random quest that makes you to read the scroll with random letters and type it in to the box, to prove you are not a robot lol. With checkmark obviously xD.

Can you report them via that if they don't talk? That was just for the rmt chat spam I believe.

True - might be able to report by directly targeting them though? I’d have to check. Certainly could have reported the pack I was standing next to when I suddenly got eight “Qwertyuiop Asdfghjkl reached level 11!” messages in my log....

The report only works out of chat. I suspect the so and so reached level whatever message would let you report them but I have never had an opportunity to try it. I have reported leveling bots before and even the FC they were part of. I don't know if any action was taken against the bots but I do know SE never did anything about the FC as I could see more bots under it several days later. I've decided to give up trying until I have a right click report player option and even then given the apparent not caring attitude towards bots might not even then.

i was waiting for an friend in mor dhona when i noticed someone fighting in the walls. Jup, in the walls. like how can they do that and why doesnt the server outokick for that?
-I made an playersearch for blm lv 50 in dhona and ofc found em... then i made the mistake to make another search...
