It's just some paper with a number printed on it they traded for a picture on a computer screen.
This isn't really a competitive game. I say, let them waste they money.

That's more expensive than a drug habit!
I've been really lucky to do most of the normal content in PUG's with little wipes as a new player. It's not worth spending that much money on a single run surely?

"Looking to clear Savage or Ultimate? We'll work with you. Just message at <insert discord name>. Will not respond to in-game tells."
That message doesn't break the ToS, thus the GMs cannot do anything about it per their own standards. Keep in mind, they will not accept screenshots or video as evidence. You have to catch someone in-game. Banning adverts will achieve nothing except prompting people to be vague in how they word said adverts.

Am I the only one who thinks the screen shot shows sarcasm? Its on the third page, and no one thought that?
Otherwise someone paid a bit too much. IMO.
I can never be convinced that anyone who would spend hundreds of dollars on any piece of equipment in this game (or for the gil to buy it) knows how to properly manage finances considering how short of a shelf life *everything* in this game has.
But it still doesn't really bother me. If anyone wants to fork out money for their shiny sword that will be shit in 3/6 months, it's no skin off my back.
