Stop Making Heavensturn An Event

...and the year they did the Halloween haunted house dungeon. Just cause it was something new and different.

Well they reused the haunted house the 2nd time and they'll probably do it again this year. I don't think people complained about it though? Or at least the majority.

People just hate the mochi FATE because it's a FATE and there's no variety to it unlike the haunted house, so Heavensturn itself isn't the problem.

I feel like the Haunted House returning went over better because it was like an extra thing after you finished the new event instead of the meat of the event itself.
The Mochi Fate has been the main part of the Heavensturn Event for three years in a row now.

I’d like to see more inspired events in general. The Halloween dungeon was a really good event and I’d love to see more things like that. Like maybe a snowball fight pvp event for starlight.

I’ve no problem with them repeating events every year if the thing getting repeated is something unique and interesting and if they think of something new to add the next year then great. This is how ffxi did it. They had an event mission and every year that mission would return and sometimes they’d add something new alongside it, then the next year both would return sometimes with something new alongside them and so on.

For me it wasn't, or at least this year's because I can't remember the first 2. I did the mochi FATE and it only took about 3-5 minutes of my time. The storyline is definitely the main part of it which took more time unless you skipped the dialogue.

I don't see a problem with the event. What I can see is someone with a problem. Just move on and don't bother with it.

I think events in general need an overhaul, they are very short, most can be completed in 15 minutes.

Or people will write their opinions about this on the forum (which is the place to do so) with the hope that maybe it would get improved so that everyone could have fun with that. (Making it completely stop might not be the best idea but other people already got some suggestions) I am quite sure that you recently wrote in another topic that you disliked something. Why write that if you just can go on and just ignore it?

And here you are moaning about other player's moaning. Double standard much? Perhaps you should take your own advice?

Back on topic, I can understand how players who have already experienced this event before will find it repetitive, but there are new players who haven't get to try it yet. However, I do agree that the event lacks depth (even from a first-timer's perspective) and could use some changes to reach the quality of the Halloween/Easter egg event.

And yet you complained about the squadron missions as not necessary and a waste of time and budget. So complaining seems to be fine its something oneself does not like. Anyway I am fine if its staying but I still find a lot of events in FF14 horrible and since feedback is the only way to change anything in this game I will continue to give it.
