FF14 launcher reset?

Hello guys,

I'm new to the forum so excuse me if I leave something out that is important. I recently booted up FF14 after being away for a couple days and it was as if the launcher just reset itself - it asked me for account details all over again etc.

My account was flagged for suspicious activity as well and I had to reset the password.
I logged in and everything seemed to be in order, I was in the exact same place I left myself.

Has anyone else come across something like this recently? (Everything is fine now - its more of a curiosity on possible reasons/causes for this occurrence).

Good Morning Alphalus, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Sounds like you received a login restriction. This happens typically when you try numerous times to log in and are unsuccessful. All you have to do to resolve this error is change your password using the email that is sent to the registered email.
