Okay, this is a two-parter. In spite of what I did say earlier, Zexy, about me not letting my opinion of your other threads bleed into other threads you make, you yourself have built a reputation of passing on false or incorrect information. You can't call the kettle black if you yourself have engaged in the bad information sharing, and then resorting to insults and doubling down on that bad info when called out on it. A few weeks doesn't change your rep and quite a few of us do remember that you refused the very advice we've given you in the past.
On the other hand...
Yes, what you just posted is something that mentors do need to be advocating. While I wouldn't go so far as to say people complaining and venting on the forums is wrong, I do agree that people need to at least give advice once during a run if it's needed. A good portion of us who have given advice have had insults thrown back at us, so it's disheartening to keep sharing advice for folks who just call us elitists just for asking them to play the game competently. I'll try to share advice til I hit my breaking point per run. I haven't quit a duty yet, I just adjust in the event of bad players. But players who don't want to listen or take advice, yes, I will judge them because they're obviously not doing something right if I am judging them. For example, if we wipe three times to the second boss of Baelsar's Wall, and I'm either an AST or RDM, and I keep telling you that I cannot keep up everybody's heals if you keep moving during the Motion Sensor (if I even tell you not to do a thing when you have the three red dots surrounding you) and you fail that each and every time, I do not want to continue the run with you. I won't kick you unless someone else initiates it, but I don't have time to deal with players who keep causing a wipe because they won't listen.
That's just one example.
