You would have gone crazy in EQ if you think anyone has obligation to let others know when a boss is killed. That is easy to say when your a server that tracks hunts properly.
On Behemoth hunting anything besides SB s ranks is close to impossible for a casual player, seriously the best solution might be to just get off that server though as its not the norm.

Literally all their hunts are missing and I heard from some people this same group is purposely putting in false information just so they can get an advantage for them selves.
Why are you bringing up something that is completely irrelevant?
I played ffxi and finding out tod was never that hard to get, guess the community had decent people though and most servers on ffxiv are the same and every s rank has tod marked.
So it's a small amount of the community who has toxic mindset like you.
Hunts are not supposed to be like HNM or world bosses from other games anyways considering there are no rare drops.

It's sad the devs probably won't even acknowledge this issue
People keep bringing up how things were in old games like FFXI and EQ. That's nice and all, but it's 2018. Game design has come a long way from archaic and exploitive mechanics. Just because something old was terrible doesn't mean the new has to be the same. Bringing up these old examples is irrelevant and does not justify the ability for players to exploit the hunt system.
People are also saying "learn when the hunt died yourself", which would constitute literally stalking these players as they go around the world 24/7 to see when they go to kill the hunts, which would be harassment.
It got much, much more. The big ones were 21-24 hour spawns, with linkshells holding onto them for up to 3 hours before killing, so their window will be the same day after day. And they actually dropped exclusive items unavailable elsewhere.
Stop whining, people aren't oblige to let you know when a hunt is there or not. Like the dev said one time, hunts are first come first served.
Stop not reading posts before you respond. No one said anything about players needing to tell people when hunts spawn. However, keeping the spawn window information to yourself, while possible, makes it impossible for anyone else to participate. Its a side effect from the level discrepancy now that we are so much higher level than the hunts. This situation is not the intended design, the hunts have not been updated with level 70 characters in mind. You may not be fully grasping this since it's not happening on your server.
Way back when I was an ignorant noob, i thought they just spawned on a clock. When I found out that there are convoluted spawn requirements, I immediately had no respect for the whiners that complained people didn't wait 15 minutes for them to finish a dungeon so they could also get the hunt. Triggering the hunts can be boring but can also be fun if you are doing it in a group.
Either way, they are world enemies. If you aren't putting in the work, u don't have a right be upset.
3 of the biggest HNM's in FFXI for years that had drops just about anyone in the game wanted were on respawn timers that were 3-7 days irl and on top of that they also had a rare version of themselves that had its own exclusive drop.
The biggest thing I'm seeing from a lot of the people whining is they don't appear understand a fundamental difference of rare spawn in an persistent world MMO that has a set period of time that must elapse before it can appear in the world again, and rare spawn in their offline games or instanced online content where its either just a single named monster that is always there or they can just force it to spawn when they want by reloading the game/instance.
I am sorry that most of the people in this thread have absolutely no reading comprehension.
To those saying stop whining : No one is asking to be hand-held through hunts. No one is asking for relays to the entire server. No one is asking to leech off of hunts. They are asking for an in-game way to tell when a window is active so they do not have to use third-party programs like Ariyala and radars to know when to dump six hours into eating eggs in Central Than.
People cite the feeling of competition being the real reason they do not mark timers - but it is not a competition when your opponent is blind with no way to fight back besides sheer dumb luck.
