An example of why the ARR Hunts need an adjustment

There is no opportunity to do the work to spawn these S ranks because they go ahead and spawn and kill them before you can ever have the chance to, and don't tell anyone so that they can maintain an iron fist on their exclusive hunt club.

If they go ahead, so can anyone. Unless you are at work or sleep, in which case someone with more free time will always win, because MMOs work like that.

Free time... to do what? Hopelessly run around Nandi's spawn points for hours on end, not even knowing if it's up or not because the kill time wasn't reported? I can't even blame this particular group for this situation, it only shows how badly designed the hunt system is that such a situation is even possible to begin with.

This is no different than what my primary LS did on FFXI for months at a time even in a few cases going on to over a year on NM and HNM spawns. We kept our own data base of death timers to find respawn windows for the targets we hunted. If you want to get in on these hunts you do the work needed to obtain the death timers yourself and keep track of it on your own. They are not obligated in any way to share this information with the entire server.

According to the current terms of service which either need to change or the playing field needs to be leveled, is the point of this thread. Because as much as SE likes to hide behind its excuse of hunts being an open world thing, this is a wonderful example of disruptive play. Without access to a hunt's last kill time, people can try and spawn that S rank for days on end without having a slim chance of that even happening because it was already killed and they don't know about it. Is it currently available in the game? Sure, but then again so was every exploit SE ever fixed. Doesn't mean it's ok, just that SE doesn't care about it enough yet, sadly.

So if you are spawner, you'll never miss any S ranks you've spawned.

You've had a wonderful hunting experience thus far and I hope that doesn't change for you but that's factually incorrect for too many people, especially for the examples which you didn't mention like Ganderawa who can spawn across the map from the gathering nodes, or the Azys Lla one with how annoying that map is to get around in. Bonnacon? Better hope your loading times are good and that he didn't spawn in Umbra, and Zona is basically made of paper so hope you don't have to cross that canyon from the fishing point because the scouts already pulled, and the list goes on.
