    I'd love for the hunter npc chara to tell you if a hunt is open or not, as most of them have random elements to their timers. Just because a thing is open on Ariyala doesn't mean it's actually open, which isn't just a waste of time if you try to spawn it, you're wasting valuable items that are a pain to get like Agrippa and Rider's maps.

    That's really not what this post is about. The problem is people don't even have the chance to spawn them because said players aren't even reporting the deaths in the tracker. They create an unfair advantage for themselves by keeping that information secret. Yes, it's using a 3rd party tool and they're not doing anything strictly against the ToS, but given that those things do exist and are well known in the hunting community, they're being selfish and unfair. That's why adding this sort of information into the game would level the playing field.

    Absolutely right. Far better for it to be that than a hunt that dies in 5 seconds.

    They're not going to put an SB leveled enemy in an area where people who don't even own SB and therefore cannot get that high level go. They'd sooner do a straight FATE system and sync everyone down with both a level and ilvl cap.

There are the annoying ones like the Bird or the fate driven ones, and you have a point there to an extent, but the vast majority either require no work or very little work. If you keep track of when an S is spawned/killed then you have an a hellava advantage over everyone else -- especially if you're not shouting it. You can't honestly say that no one else tries to make them spawn. People want to kill S's. You simply have a huge advantage over everyone else when you know when it was last killed. Let's not white knight that bad play now.

S ranks don't pop when you walk just once or do one jump or mine one item, often you spent in that zone hours and hours before pop. Hours which other players use to have fun and come only to a ready link (and ready to hate), not realising what efforts and time are hidden behind that tiny relink.

    They pop relatively simply after maintenance because their timers are without the random element to them. most likely whatever you were trying to spawn wasn't up yet, which is not so much the effort needed to spawn S ranks, but us having no way of knowing if something is really open.

    As someone who is not in a hunt ls, if I encounter a hunt in ARR zones I will /sh with pos and wait, if no one comes I kill it.

    Didn't know it was a big deal.

    Some people don't share time of death is because next time they may be spawned when they are offline and nobody will hold spawns for them. It's not in their interests to share if they want a tiger in any reasonable time. Hunts promote extremelly selfish behaviour. But, then again, anyone could spawn after maintenance because everyone is in fair conditions, so why they didn't?

    You aren't owed to know when a hunt mob dies, that's not a guaranteed right you have. There's no unfairness here, it's just a dedicated group of players putting in the work and being successful.
