The true gold here is when people with next to no raiding experience wade in on topics like this tbh.

And before I come across as being toxic or such, yes my comments are based on experience. My casual-midcore group for Gordias-Midas outright wouldn't have been able to clear A4S (and likely wouldn't have even gotten A3S) without the use of parsers to get us past the DPS barriers we faced. We didn't call people out and promptly kick them, rather we worked as a team to make DPS opportunities where we could with the skills we had.

The crux of Tridus' point is much of what they are aren't necessities any more than a parser would be. They're QoL additions a good number of players would appreciate.
