Wait, it disables battle logs? So if everyone consents to the recording, does that mean parsers wouldn't pick anything up?

I would assume that you simply don't have the battle logs available when you replay the recording. Rather, when you watch the replay, you get the animations and effects but nothing else.

That makes the most sense I think, losing the battle logs whilst recording neither makes any sense nor is productive in any way.

In short, it's another /gpose function for getting cool screenshots if you ask me.
