This. I'm new to MMOs, and thus new to FF. I've only been playing since July and there was nothing anywhere about rotation. Sure, I can look at the descriptions for my BLM stuff but there's nothing suggesting a proper rotation. I've had to scrounge the internet and find one that I think is the right one? There are so many conflicting opinions on which one is the correct one, too, that makes it extremely difficult some days. I want to do my best, to make content go smoothly for everyone, but man it's hard for newbies when you have to spend lots of time researching third party sources (Reddit, forums, Youtube, etc) and I can see why some people just... don't. It eats up your time.

As for parsers. I don't care. I parse to keep an eye on my numbers and see that Im not lagging behind, say, the healer. If I'm doing less damage than a melee DPS, as long as it's not a HUGE drop (like they're doing 5k and I'm doing 1k), and we're both similarly geared, then I'm not too worried. What does worry me, is trying my best and ending up with someone's FFlogs being posted here or on Reddit complaining about how this fight or that fight was going slowly because the DPS (even if they don't call me out by name) was lagging. Of course, with one side of the story, you'll never know if that DPS was doing what they thought was best or was just being a troll and more often than not, people responding to such stories tend to side with the poster, unless it's super obvious the poster is in the wrong themselves. Public shaming sucks when you're honestly trying to do your best. Obviously, if you're blatantly trolling and casting nothing but Bliz 3, then shame away. But I think many people honestly believe they're doing the best (or maybe I just like to give people the benefit of the doubt?).

On the topic of FFlogs though, I have it and I'm having difficulty uploading my stuff. Every thing I do upload shows up as "This report contains no fights yet." I can't seem to find a solution to it (I've Googled..I have).
