Elitist jerks and toxicity aren't gonna be a problem if SE add a parse to the game... yeah right

You do realize that elitism and acting like a jerk aren’t exclusive to people who parse, nor is such behavior always parser related, right? What that tank said is tame compared to some of the crap I see in my weekly Rabanasty runs.

That being said, even with the DPS having just 1 death a piece, a tank shouldn’t be pulling higher than them with just one death, even if there is some gear discrepancies. Tank’s attitude may not be the best, but if this was for a V2S Farm group (not a learning), then he has some reason to complain when one death puts all the DPS except the NIN beneath him. (Even if he didn’t explicitly say “farm”, if he used the “Duty Complete” tag, or the “Loot” tag, those mean for farming; “Duty Completion” is learning/clear tags.)

Also, if it was his PF, he can kick players for whatever reasons he deems fit. His PF, his rules. PLD screwed up and caused a mess that took away time from healer’s DPSing and killed all 4 DPS? He can kick him. You don’t have to like it, but he can do it.

3,5k-4k is way more than enough for o2s

For DPS? No, not really. Depending on your ilvl, you should be at 4k consistently, if not higher. My first clear for V2S was about 3.5k, but I was in 310 Verity gear and a few 320 Genta pieces. And I’m not an uber level BRD either. If you’re in mostly 330 with 340, yours should be much higher than 3.5~4k. Especially MCH because they deal pretty decent damage right now.

That you recognize room for improvement is good, but to settle for 3.5~4k DPS in a fight where people are doing minimum 1k more than that... don’t settle.
