Friend of mine runs a parser as a tank and sees DPS in DF do this all the time. This does not surprise me if this is happening here. When I'm playing my redmage, its not uncommon for me to do 500-1200 more dps than a DPS who's even got 5-15 ilvls above me.

Without parsing, there's literally no way to tell if the short end of the stick is the DPS. Or which one.

If SE ever did decide to implement a parser. I think it should measure potency per second rather than raw damage. Then have a separate one for damage when someone is solo fighting a target dummy. That'll curb most elistism down based on gear. While still showing who's putting in the most effort.

Because sorry to say.. you DO need your damage to be MUCH higher than the tanks' in the higher content. That's just a fact.

Unfortunately -- this is probably about as much as can be said before risking warnings/suspensions/actions on accounts.
