There always will be a reason for somone to be rude or toxic. It may be dmg related or simple positioning. Just got to find nice people to play with.

I'm surprised no one has responded by saying that "On my server, there are no good groups to play with!!!!!!".
Maybe I'm just lucky but i never seem to be able to NOT find a good play group
If they reference using paser while being an ass about it, copy the chat and open a ticket.

Love has a cruel sense of fun.
It never plays by the rules.
It spins us both on our heads,
Turns us both into fools.
It leaves me on my own
With tearstained eyes,
Oh, what can I do?
They say that losing at love,
Breaking your heart,
It only makes you look
Even more beautiful.
I don't believe it's true,
But I see you and what can I do?
I wish that we could be close.
Close enough to use
Our real names for once,
And you would say to me,
"Oh, I love you so!"
You'll say you won't let me go. Oh, yeah!
Rain falls on me,
And now I'm walking away.
Tell me, do you find me
More beautiful now?
I'm not the kind to let
You watch as I cry,
So I've got to leave...
I've got to forget you.
And so I'll hide
Myself away from the world,
Leave behind the sorrow
Of a sad little girl.
I though that I had finally
Won at the game.
You told me it just was for fun.
I suppose that I was too young.
If you know what this is from you get a sandwich.

Yes, banning a tool because one person was a tool makes perfect sense. /s

Because god forbid that DPS get held to account in endgame content.
Yes the tank's attitude sucked, but so did your DPS /shrug.
Yes it can merrily be argued that you did 'enough', but you've got a lot of room to do better and IMHO you'll achieve far more channeling this energy into asking for advice and working on your standard of play.

I think a parse could be helpful but ONLY if you're the only one who can see it. Allowing other people to see your dps anytime as a game policy will only lead to things like this.O2S run going very well, despite a mistake from a tank that did get all dps killed we completed this way before the enrage.
Warrior of the group who was all the time talking about his precious dps and fflogs getting the faulty tank kicked, as well as 3 dps because "shit the rest of you".
Elitist jerks and toxicity aren't gonna be a problem if SE add a parse to the game... yeah right
Because parsers becoming mandatory is gonna bring even more idiotic attitudes into the game ?I don't understand. I see an idiot being an idiot. He'll be an idiot with or without official parsers. So this is supposed to be a parser deterrent because... why exactly?
Anyway after a few searches seems like in some countrys shit is indeed used as a means to say "good luck", even in spanish, so i will try to think it was used this way
As for my dps even if i know that i am not the best MCH out there and i can indeed improve, 3,5k-4k is way more than enough for o2s, we are gonna end as World of Warcraft with stupidly high requirements for easy content.

You mean like the 330 ilvl required Lakshmi groups I see in PF? Comical stuff.
The counter point to this is that I just did a Keeper of the Lake where we kept wiping on the last boss, and everything was taking FOREVER to die. Without a parser I have no way of knowing if the problem is me, the other DPS, or something else. At that point a toxic person like the guy in this thread will get toxic anyway, they just won't have anything to go on.
Hiding data doesn't magically make people nicer. It just makes it easier for bad DPS players to not realize that there's a problem.
