But no one is asking for perfection; they are asking for people to pull their weight. There is a difference between demanding 99th percentile play, and asking for someone to pull their weight when they join in on harder content like Extremes, Savage, or Ultimate.

Quote the exact quote of the person defending people harassing others with parsers. So far as I've read, people defend the use of parsers, and defend that not everyone who uses a parser misuses one. But perhaps I missed the person saying "I want to have the right to verbally abuse anybody who performs less than 99th percentile" as is the popular strawman.

I do hope you aren't logging in with your cousin's account since that is against the rules and apparently, you have to follow them exactly. Regardless, you seem to have conveniently ignored the part where Yoshida himself has watched raiders stream FFXIV with parsers active. If they were that rigid about parsers, why would the producer not step in and ban all of them? According to you, he should have.

I don't know what you mean with that meme, we are not all aware of it and the way it's used (just saw it was something about a mechanic of Zurvan Ex that could be skiped with enough dps).

Better learn to deal with the fact people are overall casual players in this game. Avoid playing with randoms the most you can. Some people can't even dodge big orange aoe on the ground. So don't ask them to be perfect at dps while they are focusing hard on dodging a mechanic when they certainly don't even would have a good rotation on a dummy. We proc with people from different servers we will never see again, so we have good chances to don't even see them after to talk and help in a meaningful way.

Here's my argument with what you just said - by the time you start hitting savage content, if you cannot execute your rotation while dodging the very obvious AOE markers that do show up in these fights (the ones that you have more than enough time to get out of the way of), then don't come into Savage and expect players to tolerate it. This is not so much about casuals in this game - I'm fine with that, because casuals have made FFXIV successful. However, while I don't expect perfection, I do expect a decent level of competence in Savage. By the by, essentially all of my clears on Savage and EX have come from random PUGs - and I clear a majority of the time without the anti-parser drama that I'm starting to think isn't as prevalent as some of these posters are trying to make it seem.

It really isn't. The time it does happen, they just happen to meet the jerks that are using parsers and probably not pulling their own weight hence the harassment.

yes He said it was my account when he was posting and that he had a 70 and he knows for a second, I could of typed it for him but I let him do it, I did not move from my chair.

starting to make me laugh I would give you his name but its against the rules plus he could went to same zone as that person from cactuar but he said he doesn't wanna get in trouble for saying something.

Though all I could of done was say they were wrong and didn't let him touch the keyboard but instead I did and all of you are getting up in arms for nothing.
