It's a "Soaring needs retuning" issue, especially when healers have shorter casts (for example, DRG's Fang & Claw combo does 5000 potency, the same as a Cure II, but it's 5000 potency damage performed over 7 seconds vs 5000 potency healed within 1.3), can already provide 20% damage mitigation (so if Soaring is additive, that's now 40% at 10 stacks), and still even before regens and emergency heals are applied.

Let's not act like things are fine as they are, and not every DPS out there is bad, just like not every healer running around right now is good, nor every job balanced. The proof is all over this section of the forum. CC and timing is definitely paramount, but how about those melees that don't have it?
