I've always liked the thought of Dancer as a job due to its limitless possibilities. A job that could fit any role, have a wide selection for weapon of choice (still not sure about whip), and boundless potential for something that's missing in the original post: origin.

No matter how lame of a tie-in it may be (pretty much looking at Red Mage right now), every job has some sort of origin point that someone can point out in the lore and say "oh, that's where it comes from in the game world". It'd be nice to see something like that to give it a little more reasoning for this game.

As for the concept itself, teeny bit convoluted, but a step in the right direction I think. It does remind me though that I should probably redo my ORMOA guide for job concepts though....

Yeah, I was worried that it would get a little convoluted. >w>()
When designing the job, I wanted it to be more difficult-but-rewarding and have a more Always-Be-Casting type of gameplay, being more rewarding to those who DPSed.
I designed the Charisma and Allure system so that players would have to generate their own resource to preform dances, the meat-and-potatoes of the job, and would be rewarded for both placing their HoTs and actively DPSing.
