battle music

i want to turn off battle music, cant understood why there is no option for it.
that music is so annoying.

System Configuration > Sound Settings > Volume Settings

Any of the following can be muted:

Master Volume
BGM
Sound Effects (such as magic effects)
Voice
System Sounds (such as linkshell notifications)
Ambient Sounds

Yeah, I wish this was a thing too. I don't want to turn off the game music overall because I like it. The battle music gets annoying when you are running through a zone enjoying the area's music and then you aggro something and now the nice music is no more.

I feel like this could fall under the same category as mount music. It's nice that it's an option to turn that off, and I do, because it similarly gets in the way of enjoying other game music.
