Question about Main Scenarios quest and Job Levels

As long as you meet or exceed the level requirement of the quest, you can do it. It may sync your level down for some scripted fights to keep some of the challenge but it won't stop you from doing the level 15 quest even if you're level 70.

However, you can't do your level 30 quests as a 22 Arcanist. You must be at or above the level of the quest on the class/job you're going to attempt it with.

Sorry maybe I need to clarify. What I mean is can I do level 30 main scenario quest with my dark knight at level 60, even though the first job I took is arcanist and it is level 22.

Reason I am asking is because I do not want to play arcanist anymore so I am making sure it does not affect the main quest
