So if the costumes are dyeable, what is the difference between the two?
Yoshi-P and the dev team have proven once more the ridiculously bad taste they have for outfits and mounts, I don't think it's just me anymore, this game is getting worse by the minute!...
Dwarf Carbuncle mounts are not my idea of cool rides, I won't be getting these things even if they sell for 50% off, I wonder how many will be sold!...![]()
I love it. As soon as I saw it was account wide, I got it immediately. I just wish they came in ruby carbuncle too... c'mon...
The mount price seems fair for an account wide mount. Clothing... not so much.

It has more to do with the price of the outfits than the mounts. The mounts seem to be in a more reasonable price range, but with most outfits in the mogstation priced at around $5 to $15, this was just an argument that would come up every time a Chinese exclusive outfit would get added. I've always had my suspicions but now it's a bit more obvious that it was SE testing the waters with that price range all along. Not sure about the last part, but Blizzard also charges $25 per mount so the price is about right, but they could be in the same situation.
What I would argue the time and energy to develop a mount or gear is no where near the same development time it takes to do a dungeon. A mount or gear can be cranked out in less then a day. It is a side project at best and something someone probably did between larger projects for some easy downtime while they gave their brain a little of a rest. A dungeon would take a lot longer to develop by comparison.
I get that people want content, but this would not take away from that.
As far as development of the dungeons go, you're right that it takes more time and energy to build a dungeon map, the mobs and bosses and battle mechanics as well as the rewards. But the devs have even stated that we have a much higher budget for stormblood than we did for HW or ARR. what I don't get is why that budget is going into things like physically relocating the NA datacenter while that in-game content is getting slashed and the energy that would have been put into the rewards gets put into making exclusive cash shop items instead.
I mean, there's likely a good explanation, but I'd rather there be a little more balance of energy being put into the game itself so that there's more going on between patches.

No matter how anyone feels, they will still sell plenty of them.Yoshi-P and the dev team have proven once more the ridiculously bad taste they have for outfits and mounts, I don't think it's just me anymore, this game is getting worse by the minute!...

Reading too much of the forums makes me very sad and apathetic.
Why did they make the mount look retarded like the Yokai ghost mount? How hard is it to scale mounts to be the right size for the race...
I'd buy the mount but my feet would be dragging across the ground, lmao... Need someone with a Miqo'te to link how the helm looks though.
EDIT: Nvm, looked in the Miqo'te screenshot post. Terrible.
