Carbuncle mounts have arrived!

I don't mind that they offer things in the cash shop, but they need to be careful about how many thing they do. Even if it's optional, you don't want to have two tiers of players, normal fish and whales, who have a large difference in glamour via real money spending. And the more they rely on the shop, the more the temptation grows be unethical and use lootboxes/gacha. I kind of feel that video games in general are moving to price most of their fans out of being fans with the sheer amount of cost to enjoy content. SE is much better than most when it comes to that, but there are so many $15+ optional things that I worry a bit.

The real problem would be if the cash shop ever becomes the favored outlet over the base product such that we see less playable game content. I don't think that has been the case to date.

This game is going crazy with the cash shop for a game that is not a F2P.
I have been playing the game since patch 2.0 and I can't understand why we should pay this amount of money for exclusive mounts and emotes.
I mean we are playing a based paid game with a monthly fee so I was OK for SE to put old event items in the cash shop but this is going insane now with all these exclusive items in the MogStation.
So what can we expect as next step SE ? A new Job to buy exclusively on MogStation for the next expansion ?

+2 INT/STR on set bonus, next jump is DNC job unlock quest as set bonus.

Another mount I won't buy. I'm not even surprised that most of the "nice" and fun things go to the mog shop any more. The bear was a nice surprise yet now I can't help but feel that they hoped we wouldn't feel short-changed with these latest additions to the cash shop because of that cute little bear in a Santa hat.

As much as I want certain things- emotes and dances, mostly- I can't justify paying for them when I already pay a monthly sub. I can certainly afford the things I want. But I feels like such a scam every time I see something that could be earned in-game go to the shop with no other option than to buy it. Sorry SE, I know you want to bleed me dry if I'll let you, but I don't even pay for microtransactions on crappy phone games- I know a raw deal when I see one.

They look good for lalas, but seem a bit squashed for the larger races.
Maybe a bit more scaling up needed?

You leave my squished children alone they're perfect as they are. The Yokai Watch mounts are also some of my favorite for the precise reason they look so utterly ridiculous.

This exactly, I like the mount but it's so squashed on my non-lalas.

If anyone is interested I can post images of a male of every race but Roe on the Citrine Carbuncle.
