The amount of playable content being added per patch has shrunk over time.

So you mean to say that there's not a problem until after cash shop content begins to overshadow playable content added to the game.
I mean, it's slow going but it will get a lot worse before we cross that threshold. I'm simply looking at how things have progressed over time so far.

The fact that you have a "must have" mount locked behind an additional paywall is already an issue. Why do people have to get crushed before they realized the sky fell?



Please note I used quotation marks because it's subjective from person to person. I'm sure a lot of people didn't buy Slepnir or Fat Moogle Bungle mount nor did they purchase emotes or gear from the shop.




He wouldn't have a job any longer, or simply be shifted to another aspect of the game. It's not uncommon to have developers shifted around between projects.
And this has little to do with the cash shop. A couple mounts, outfits and an emote wouldn't have made Eureka release any faster. Content has felt barren this patch cycle because they focused more on incredibly niche audiences aka Ultimate, Rival Wings and Perform.
