I understand clipping exist but in sets too? Read on

I can easily make peace with clipping in the context where I'm glamming different parts together. Its not realistic to expect devs to account for all possible glam combinations and not expect clipping.

What I don't understand is why clipping exist in the gear sets they make when there's precedence of accounting for it. Here's what I mean:

    Example 1: Good design set

This is the hellfire set for tanks. As you can see here, the shield is hanging from the spikes from the armor itself. I find that to be incredibly amazing just in terms of...innovation, for a better lack of word. Now if you try to use a different shield, there's gonna be clipping, and that I can understand.

    Example 2: Bad design set

This is the WHM AF3. I'm completely baffled here because the staff was made for the set as well but it clips with the...thing (i forgot the name. I should know this, I'm terrible lol). They could've adjusted it so it's at an angle to avoid it but for some reason or other they just left it as is.

My call to action here is SE revisits its gear sets and corrects the clipping. I feel this is justifiable as this is something that is completely within their control and there are no variable involved if someone glams themselves from head to toe in a set.

    Discuss away.

EDIT: Ironically, when it comes to the hellfire tank gear, the pld sword clips for it as well. Sigh.

    EDIT #2:

I'm arguing the clipping within the confines of a gear set. I'm not talking about lost causes like hair clipping, mount clipping, race clipping because they have too many interchangeable variables. I'm talking about the gear sets.

I know I've probably overstepped it there with needing to fix all previous sets there as I'm sure they can't be bothered to check every set but going forward, if putting on a collar on a chest piece is just going to be skewered by the cane created for that set, then better to remove the collar altogether. After all, the male version of that AF3 whm set doesn't have one and by that same note, it looks very normal. The female version is so forced and the clipping is so, so very visual that it just doesn't look passable.

Again, I am at peace with clipping due too many outside variables. Its when something was made specifically as a set AND it clips the set anyways. That's just shoddy to me.

If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
