About the Carbuncle attire...

Were we supposed to receive an earring for each respective set or is this going to be some other quest item we acquire later through some other way? Simply curious. Gamerescape lists the earring as part of the attire yet the names ARE different and the earrings were added first...anyone know what's up with that?

...there are Carbuncle earrings? I need these in my life.
Maybe I’ll finally wear something other than my Firecrest earring for a change.

That being said...maybe they’ll be added to a future event or a vendor? I know FFXIV has occasionally offered little earrings through special vendors—like the Cactuar earring and the Bomb earring. I feel like there may be a few more but I can’t recall them.

EDIT: Could they possibly be an external DLC for those new carbuncle scarfs?

That is some writing mistake i think.
As example in the English Lodestone the emerald set only includes boots and jacket while the topaz set includes boots, jacket and ears.
In the German Lodestone it is similar, the emerald set should include boot, jackets and earrings while the topaz set includes boots, jacket and ears.
On MogStation it is clearly that the set includes boots, jacket and ears, but no earrings.

Dunno what's on Gamerescape but the attire set lists only the ears, jacket, and boots for the set.

Any earrings aren't a part of it.

Could it be a mistake by a proofreader? Say if they just checked over the written information (without looking closely at the accompanying picture), saw "ears" and assumed it was meant to be shorthand for "earrings" and needed to be corrected?
