Ever consider raiders want to be surprised? We see virtually all the mechanics, albeit at baby levels. Why does it matter to you we don't really care about a mode we'll blitz through, especially those who skip all the cut scenes anyway?
Any raider worth his/her salt who assumes the extreme/savage content will be the same..will be in for a rude awakening.
... do you actually do Savage? Deltascape Normal has virtually all the same core mechanics, albeit in different sequences. Only V3S made more substantial changes through adds and the Reaper mechanic. V4S, of course, added an entirely exclusive fight.
Nah I suck at raiding, pretty casual or midcore group atm more or less. And if you would have read some of the earlier comments, it would have been clear that this is not about time savings or being elite.
I expect to be some weeks at savage at least until a clear.
To recap
For me progressing is fun, trying to find solution for the problems you encounter. Experiencing the same fight, expecting the same phases and animations to occur at some point(because you seen them in normal mode)..., this spoilers me the fight. It is hard to turn a blind eye to that.
The feeling during second or final coil where you don't know that e.g. teraflare will happen with a glorious sykbox animation, that are epic moments in a fight. I don't want to waste them in a normal mode that can be facerolled by like 4 of 8 people and carried hard by a few players. It doesn't really have a sense of accomplishment to me.
