I rather they went with "0 f*** given" rather than this "half f***" mindset. I get it that they won't utilize some of the more advance hair/cloth physic due to cost/resource efficiency considerations, but if that's the path they are going to go, might as well go all the way and give us stuff they had been avoiding with clipping as an excuse.
Off-topic, can we get Odin's mantle please? I don't mind weapon clipping and half cloth physics like the ones in HW/SB sets.

Of course there's clipping, the dev team is unable to do a good job, might be the old graphics' engine becoming even more useless and the Director doesn't seem be to willing to find a solution at all!...
A simple workaround to parry the problem, at least in part, would be to allow us to save the currently worn hairstyle as part of a glamour set and avoid the horrible clipping effect!...
Well that, or they could make high quality models for the whole body, including every single hairstyle of course!...

Um, just to reiterate here, and I'll put this on the first page...
I'm arguing the clipping within the confines of a gear set. I'm not talking about lost causes like hair clipping, mount clipping, race clipping because they have too many interchangeable variables. I'm talking about the gear sets.
I know I've probably overstepped it there with needing to fix all previous sets there as I'm sure they can't be bothered to check every set but going forward, if putting on a collar on a chest piece is just going to be skewered by the cane created for that set, then better to remove the collar altogether. After all, the male version of that AF3 whm set doesn't have one and by that same note, it looks very normal. The female version is so forced and the clipping is so, so very visual that it just doesn't look passable.
Again, I am at peace with clipping due too many outside variables. Its when something was made specifically as a set AND it clips the set anyways. That's just shoddy to me.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

That collar on the white mage costume is so disappointing. Even without testing it on specific weapons/hairstyles/whatever, because it’s horizontal across the back, anything that clips is going to clip in the ugliest possible way.

We probably have to wait for people to stop using 32bit computers and for ps5 to come out some day. So it's both pc and ps4 that are the problem..

This doesn't seem like "set" clipping, if you're arguing that the weapons clip with the sets. The weapons aren't considered part of the same armor sets, are they? Plus they give the option to hide sheathed weapons.

The majority of the weapons post level 50(with the exception of trial weapons and a few random ones) are part of an armor set. In the case of the i290 job gear it's even more so apart of it.
