    Lag Spikes during instances

Hello Support forum folks. I am now having considerable issues holding onto my connection during instances. Note that I have been playing for quite a while with my current PC and wireless router set-up with no issues. As of the last 2 - 3 weeks I have been having serious lag and disconnect issues.

Lag spikes and eventual disconnect are have become fairly common over approximately the past two weeks.
    - Platform: PC, Win 10
    - Any error codes or messages you receive upon disconnect: 90002
    - Type of connection: wireless
    - Other programs running while the game is playing: none
    - Frequency at which disconnect occurs: lag spikes always, disconnect about 70% of the time
    - Where you are booted to after disconnect: Start Screen

Looks like I am getting a solid link over the wireless and my daughter, who plays on a similar PC literally right next to me has a rock solid connection with no lag. It looks like I have acceptable latency to the server, so I am suspecting a windows setting changed during a recent update, I just can't figure out which one it is.

So far, I have run through the stuff listed here, doing so has gotten me to the point where I am only severely lagged and disconnecting ~70% of the time:

About the only thing I noticed is that I now have Edge installed (though my default browser is Chrome).

Any help would be most appreciated.

Good Morning Morlock, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

What Server/Data Center are you on? It may be possible that going to more populated sections may result in the disconnections for you (by exacerbating existing connection issues), however this is only speculation.

Thank you for playing Final Fantasy XIV!
