    Suggestion/Ideas: DRK Dark Passenger?

    A lot of people have been suggesting that Dark Passenger needs to be improved or outright remade into a new skill due to its current incredibly situational usage. Lets talk about some ideas and give suggestions about how you would change it, and how it might fit into the DRK kit in a way that improves it. My first thought based on the name conjures up a skill similar to Death Grip on WoW's DK. Something like a 150 potency magic damage ranged skill that pulls a target to you, but if the target is immune the damage is doubled or increased to 200/300 and is on a 30 or 60 second cooldown. This would give it great utility in dungeons, but also make it a potent skill to use on bosses when forced to be at range briefly.

    if improved: drop the mana cost a lot. it's not that useful without dark arts and that's already expensive. spending 4800 MP for a narrow AOE blind(which is only really useful on trash) is not appealing when I can just DA Abyssal Drain and get HP back.
    if remade: sky's the limit. I have no idea where to take it here.

    It needs a drastically reduced MP cost in it's current incarnation, as is the spell is useless and a waste of an action bar slot at 70. A shame to because it's such a cool looking attack.

    They should either revert it to how it was so, or just scrap it and give drk another defensive/utility that it really needs.

    Or both.

    I honestly feel like it should be reverted back to how it was in HW. I feel the potency nerf was almost as unneeded as the fact that it's now double the cost to use it (not even counting DA+Dark Passenger costs here).

    Drop the MP cost, make it 25 Blood per use, give it a 30s recast time...maybe restore the 3.X potency?
    Done and done. Dark Passenger redeemed almost immediately and Blood given more uses.

    Which still wouldn't fix the biggest problems with the job, but it would be a decent start. Regardless, my suggestion stems from the idea that DRK has no actions that require any less than 50 Blood, while WAR does; I won't even touch on PLD as I can't stand playing it out of the three tanks.

    Dark Arts version should restore mp based on number of enemies hit, which would be great synergy with Quietus and a great skill to have in the early levels where mp starvation is very common.

    I agree! And...

    I feel DRK could use at least one more MP restorative ability. If anything I'd like the MP cost of Dark Passenger removed entirely and for it to be an AoE version of Carve and Spit, where if you use it without Dark Arts then you get an amount of MP back, but in this case per target. Akin to a low potency Quietus you can use every 30 seconds or so without the need to build up the Blood gauge.
