Good way to get Party for Synced Extreme Primal Raids

Hi,

I have restarted playing with a new healer character recently. I am currently at the point where I can face the Primals on Extreme mode And the Binding Coils of Bahamut. I beat Garuda Extreme yesterday night, some of the players were new. It took us about 6 tries, I had read about the mecanics online. I faced Titan Extreme this afternoon, some players quitted, we voted an abandon at 2 min. before end. I understand that it's easier to go unsynced, but I really like the challenge aspect.

Anyway... It's really hard and long to get a party to join on these trials. I waited the full hour yesterday night on the Duty finder to get 5 players, I got the rest by waiting 20 minutes on the Duty. I had to wait 1h30m on the duty finder to finally get a team for Titan. There seem to be even less takers for King Mog extreme or the Binding Coils of Bahamut.

Is there a better way to find players who are willing to do these trials?

You can try recruiting through Party Finder. Make sure to specify in the description that you want to run synced otherwise you'll get people joining assuming its unsynced.

Even if you don't get a full group consider asking the people that are interested to Friend you or join a linkshell interested in synced content. Starting with a core of people may make it easier to recruit later.

Some servers may have linkshells interested in synced content already. You could try asking in Shout in a populated area if there is one for your server or try starting your own.

Even synced these fights are easy enough for veterans. Party finder for content you want to clear and note "First Time Clear Bonus". That usually turns heads and is enough for people to join.

Well I beat Titan this morning with experienced players, waited 1h20m. with the duty finder. I actually tried to friend request them, I couldn't while I was in the trial, I got out couldn't find their names. I think they were in different worlds. About linkshells, that options is unavailable right now... My tactic right now is to apply for 2-3 trials at once, put FFXIV on my other computer screen while I do other stuff on my main screen, let it sit for a while and eventually it will find the players for one trial.

You can see the list of 50 latest players you partied with through Main command >Social > Contact.
You can send friend request from there (only if the are online).

Maybe try forming a linkshell for people on your server who are interested in running these synced? Or a Discord cross-server community? You could advertise and gather the groups through PF.

Actually, I've run into a bunch of 5 people who were ready to do the Binding Coils of Bahamut Synced. We were able to recruit the 2 others via Party Finder. That went well until Turn #5, Twintania. After like 5-6 tries, one player rage quitted. We ended up going for unsync just to get through it. We tried the next bosses synced, Rafflesia, Melusine and Avatar. We found out that they were impossible to beat without a considerable amount of homework and practice. So we ended up going for unsync on these too. Then we hit the wall against Nael Van Darnus. That didn't go well sync or unsync.

We finally added ourselves to friend lists and promised we would be back for synced run of earlier boss we did unsync. That's the gist of it for now.

In each major city, always close to the moggle-mail, there is an NPC who will set up linkshells for you, you pick a name and then you can start inviting people! - be advised though that currently you can only add people from your own world to your Linkshells.
You might also want to look for an FC that supports your wish of doing such content synched, if you havent found one, that you really like, yet!

Generally speaking: Yes, Coil, specially T9 (Nael) do require you to know mechanics, do your homework, work together... a voice chat like Discord can be very helpful too! (And you can set up a Discord-server and add everyone no matter their server there!)
That content used to be our endgame-raids and even though it got nerfed, its no cakewalk when done properly... good luck and dont give up!
