PS4 Login Issue

Hello,

This morning i was able to log in and play on my PS4. Turned it off for lunch then when i got back I couldn’t enter password or one time password credentials. I’ve restarted several times to no avail, even completely turned off.

I could move the mouse pointer on the screen and pointed to links and buttons. I can see that it is working as it is actually changing when i hover over. But the thing is i cannot click them. Pressed all buttons on my controller but nothing seems to work. I cannot even get the cursor in the password fields.

When did this first start occurring? Is it a recent development or has this happened for a while?

Are you using any type of USB device, such as a USB keyboard with your PS4? Have you tried using a different controller (if you have one available)?

Was there any change in your PS4 (such as a system update), that coincided with the issue?

Any additional information about the situation will help us find a solution.
