I love Faerie! I've met so many nice people on there and love meeting new people.
My only two complaints are that it seems a bit dead ATM (patch lull) and that some people are just eh at times.

I actually really love Balmung in spite of our overblown "reputation". We have some bad seeds, sure, but I've encountered just as many if not more on other servers and on other games that I've been a part of - and the small niche I've managed to find for myself have all become surprisingly like family. With that said however if they ever designated official RP servers myself and my FC would likely hop ship because the lack of 'new' blood due to SE's refusal to close the server on a timely basis has thrown our markets completely out of whack.

I like Hyperion well enough though I haven't honestly interacted with many outside of my small FC. It's been a good server and I've met some great people
I liked Balmung. I have played on other servers for various lengths of time (I was Adamantoise for a few months) and none of them that I have tried even hold a candle to how lively and fun Balmung can be.
Lately though. Yeesh. It's been kind of depressing. Market board is not doing so hot and there was only FOUR whole people in Kugane plaza/MB at 11 on a Saturday (for reference on how drastically the population has dipped). It's probably chalked up mostly to between patch lulls, but also I'm starting to think more and more combat/crafting players are leaving to other servers and the only people logged in are sitting in the Quicksand.
I'm in Balmung, and really have yet to notice any major issues. Still loads of people in Ul'dah and Kugane when I'm around. It still feels the exact same to me since before the lock, even the market board keeps dipping and rising just like before. It's really feeling like people are trying to look for problems with the lock.
On topic though, the server itself is alright. Would be nice to not have to turn off say when moving through Ul'dah so I don't have to cringe at what goes on, but it is nice to see locations busy with people. A server is just a server to me for the most part though, it's the friends and groups you join that make it a home for you.

Eh, I'm actually happy with the lock but most of the markets I've been a part of have gone a little bananas and most of my crafter friends have similar complaints. Isn't enough to make me leave though just for that however, most an observation than anything else.I'm in Balmung, and really have yet to notice any major issues. You know what?I actually really love Balmung in spite of our overblown "reputation". I don't find you guys (Balmung) bad at all. You got goofy people, just like every other server. It just happens that some of those goofy peeps are bit more vocal than most. And no, I'm not talking about the #FreeBalmung people, just the others that have made some really blink-twice kind of posts![]()
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
I like Shiva.
Shiva is pretty much the unofficial german server with so many germans gathering here. I don't mind speaking english at all but it definitely makes it easier sometimes.
Pretty full here and even with patch lull, queues are fairly short and there's still a lot going on in PF. Sometimes weird things happen in Limsa and the constant strumming from Bards tends to grate my ears after some time but other than that, I'd say it's a good server.
Some of my friends transed to Odin and regretted it. xD
I'm gonna quote what two people on the Coeurl discord server said, because it sums up the whole thing pretty well :
"Its a good server, chill atmosphere the whole 9 yards.
The only issue with couerl is if you want to become a hardcore anything..... its not the server for you."
"There are a few members that are interested in really doing content.
The hard part is that they're very few and far between.
Coeurl breeds omnicrafters."
So basically, although some people do run extreme content (myself included), most stick to casual and crafting/gathering. On the other hand, the community is extremely nice, so I'd recommend it to anyone.
I love Cactuar. We've grown considerably since I started playing 2 years ago (now 4th most populated server). It's definitely an "everything" kind of server. Kind of like Balmung except with less RP and the Quicksand is not...questionable. ;p
