Tonfa's for Monks? (Weapon suggestion)

This is a common staple among martial artists. They look like they'd be easier to model and you could be decorative with them.



***EDIT, why just stop at Monks, a bladed tonfa for Ninja would look pretty flashy too!

Personally i could see them being used for a future class like say, geomancer (ffxiv actually does have a geomancer in one of the class quests so it seems like a logical choice), but for monk or ninja i can't see it as it would require new animations to be added to the classes for it to really work.
