Friend List says "Unable To Retrieve" for Cross World Friend List On PC

I added several cross world friends to my list on PS4, and it worked fine. But when I try to play either of my two laptops when I'm away from home, all of the friends that aren't on my server say Unable to Retrieve. Some of them even are highlighted like they are online, but I can't send them tells or anything. When playing on PS4 they all show the names like normal. As I said I've tried this on two different laptops, and different internet services but on PC it's always the same. Can anyone help? I have attached a picture for reference. The names you can see are of friends on the same server as me, which seem to work fine on pc or ps4. I can provide more information if need be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to know a little more information regarding your issue. When did this start? Has it been happening consistently? Did you have any updates on the PC's like OS updates that coincides with when this issue started?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought adding cross world friends were saved client side and not server side, meaning you can only access them from the device/ platform to which you added them

Thanks for responding Ariellendra. I have done no OS updates, or anything like that. I just started recently adding cross-world friends, so it's been happening since then. I did an experiment though, I saved a new cross-world friend on PC, logged off, and then logged in with the PS4, and sure enough, it says "Unable to retrieve" when I look at my friend list on the PS4. So the post by DorisDaBlade on this thread appears to be correct. The issue appears to be that when you save a cross-world friend on the PC and then switch to ps4, the friend list says "Unable to Retrieve" and vice-versa. Can you suggest a fix, or do you know when one will be provided via update? As I said I tried this with two different PC's so it's not the computer, it appears that this information is being saved client side.

Ok, lol Patware was right. The button on the left fixes it. I never thought to do that. Thanks everyone!
