English speaking casual Static LF DPS Caster

Hi guys

Our group is recruiting a caster RDM/SMN/BLM because our current RDM annouced recently he is going to retire from the raid life, so sad...

What are we looking for:

A caster as stated in the thread title, duh... We have a preference for a RDM or SMN due to the utility in the progression phase (read as: to rez me when I fuck up), but a solid BLM can be considered as well. Someone with prior raid experience is prefered, but no clear requirements in 0S1-4 are set at this point.

What can you expect:

We are a casual group, this means we only raid two times a week for two hours each time. Tuesday from 7ST to 9ST and Sunday from 7ST to 9ST. Considering this group exists for 2,5 yrs now, we will not change this timing.

We currently are on a break until after years' end, but we have succesfully cleared O4S multiple times, so despite being all fun and games we are still serious on progressing content.

What do we expect

Someone not to serious and who does not tilt/gets salty easily, but still someone who is willing to commit to the class and the group. As stated earlier, we want to kill shit, so this does ask for some allocation of resources, research and the will to get better each pull.

Bring the gear, getting high gear levels at this point is easy, so no excuses there.
Bring the potions and food, we got crafters in the group who can make them at reduced cost if needed.
Bring yourself in good state and on time
Bring your research, watch video's etc.
Bring me money

Be able to use Teamspeak, because we use this to communicate during raid. There is no need to actually talk if you don't feel like doing that, but we need you to listen as a bare minimum so you can hear callouts, etc. Comms are in Eglish

So what is next?

Well, we on a break until after New Year, so you might as well take a break yourself

We will (probably) start again on the 2nd of January so at that time we will take you into O3S and see how you perform. This means you will need to read up on the strats for this floor and come prepared. If multiple people are interested we will see how to manage this.

But you guys are casual, why the tryouts? Well, we want to see how you perform in a raid situation and how you fit with the group. The reason why we chose O3S is because there are some clear mechanics that need to be done and we can clearly see how you manage those. At the end of the day, you will need to carry your own weight in the next tier of savage...
