Question about Balmung.

I don't understand why everyone is being bitter with OP over this topic. It's a shame to not be able to join established friends and have to make due with them making pity alts just to play together. As a Balmung native I pray people like OP get a chance to come in eventually, not only because not being able to play an MMO with your social group is lame but becuase being a closed server is not without it's consequences.

I dont really care about the server overload or anything like that I just want to play with my friends lol

Because despite constantly giving him legit reasons on why the server won't be opened anytime soon, and answering his question countless times, he still acted like a selfish person who refused anything other than what would be of benefit to him.

You took a quote that was in a joking context and actually consider that a serious response? And again the responses most people gave would work if a company was small SE isnt small they have funds and manpower.

And you must be joking again to think that the entire company works on XIV and that XIV can take what it wants from the entire funding. XIV's team is small and it only gets a % of the funding because SE's other teams have to work on many other projects.

It's these kind of responses that make people believe you are pre-teen, because you can't grasp even the basics of how companies work.

I understand that they don't only work on XIV but again they're a multi-million dollar company correct? They make millions alone from their mobile games. Why not use some of those funds to work on their on going mmo improve on what needs to be improve? Is that such a hard concept to ask? Putting more effort and mmo on a successful mmo?

Because of the number of other game and non-game projects. Again, the XIV team is small and they have a budget for the game. Subs and Mogstation put more money into XIV's piggybank, but even then, a large % of that goes directly into SE and towards the other projects again. They can't just switch people around, and take funding from one project into another, that is not how it works.

They're small thats understandable but it's an mmo that has WoW as its competition with what they've had for a budget they've been able to some what keep up. If they had an increased budget to improve things like servers which is one big issue the game faces subs would imorove. Nobodys asking for the same amount as WoW but just more than whats given to make it a better more stable game.Lets be honest here we don't need those FFXV mobile ads that dont even show the actual gameplay of the game why not use some of that marketing budget on XIV to help the game as an example
