This is most likely a troll thread, so I'll just share a piece of information with people who are actually concerned with this before running to the hills:

Even if the active population drops to an acceptable level, SE won't be opening Balmung (at least for transfers) for months. If they open it too soon people will just flock back in and it will be the same thing all over again. They will wait for people to take deep enough roots in others servers so they are not willing to move again.

That is all, see you folks again on the next "unlock Balmung" thread that will inevitably show up in a few weeks.

This is the kind of attitude in people, especially recently, that's very irritating. TheAngelneer never "attacked" you. She was far less rude than I was and she answered your question. It's hard to see this thread as anything other than a troll thread because you still say "people did not answer the question" when the question has been answered for 17 pages.

Your attitude is incredibly off putting and no one cares how much you want to play with your friends. You and your friends should not dictate how the game runs. This selfish notion of "it's inconvenient to me so it has to change" is so ridiculous. You should deal with it, not expect it to change because you want it to.

Square Enix thinks its hilarious to watch people try to create a character there and get an error. They have a running tally in their offices about all the failed attempts. Friends being apart from each other is just icing on the cake. They're letting it go for a while so when someone does play on another server and gets established.. they can offer the service to transfer, but at an inflated price. They get their giggles and greed on at the same time.

Is that better? Is that what everyone (or one, I don't really care) wants to believe?

That would be a piss poor part on SE part in which they would get massive shit for, lots of unsubs, articles written etc. Then Yoshi-p will have to come out and give his half-ass responses he always gives when ever anything bad happens.
