Like I said, by the time SE actually does anything it will be well over. If they're not going to take action against someone brazenly running out of mats for 8 hours (and rising up and down because of it) when will they? As aforementioned that day either hell with freeze over or all the botters will be done with it.

Depends how out of controlling botting really is I guess, its easy for people to point fingers and label an innocent person as a botter.

I'm not even sure botting is that detremental to the economy in this game because its so completely screwed and the population is so low.

It took years for SE to do something about the RMT in 11 which ended up causing a complete economy crash, I very much doubt anything will be done about botting until 2.0.

I think the more important thing is for them to change the mini games so people can't bot.

Why does it matter? Where does it stop? So bot crafting is OK (not that you're saying it personally)? So is speed hacks ok? Bot farming? Bot claiming NMs? Rules are rules and cheating is cheating. You don't just pick one you personally don't like or have a preference for.

No, anything that gives an unfair advantage as to how the game is designed to be played should be discouraged/punished. As well as being able to obtain anything without playing. But WE aren't the ones who are supposed to do that. Report them ingame.. leave it off the forums.

Though its sort of funny when you think about it.. as botting is just something sitting there taking place of a person but still "playing" the game as it was designed.

While things like powerleveling allow you to bypass the way the game is supposed to be played and gain exp faster.

This is the thing, using a bot, using a autofire controller and spamming enter are all basically the same thing, I think a lot of it is down to jealousy or the moral high ground, I'm not condoning the use of bots but I don't see much difference especially when SE make it easy for people to use them.

The problem is very much with SE and not the user.

For the record, though it has little to do with this, I hated the PL loophole SE had. Its part of the reason why the game is shattered. Being able to level up to 50 in mere days gave loads of people nothing to do or shoot for.
