What is Grynewaht

For reference Grynewaht is the last boss of Doma Castle.

Is he a Paladin with a Maul or a Warrior with a Maul and a forearm buckler?

Or is this a sneak peak of a new tanking class that is going to be all about that hammer time? (Defensive buffs include a 100% dodge skill that plays MC Hammer).

I have to say I was really intrigued by his armor, weapon, and the random shield on his left arm. I would love to have a new tanking class that uses a 2-handed Maul. I think there are a lot of possibilities for abilities. The Character could slam the maul into the ground throwing up rocks and other objects to provide a shield or reduce incoming damage by x%.

I get that warrior already uses some animations that could apply to a maul but there could be ways to adapt or even modify warrior so they are Distinct and visually appealing.
