Hi, this is Sil on the Saronia server.

I am a huge fan of the FF Series, a long time FFXI Player, a FFXIV Player since beta and I have two questions.

Are we getting THF?

When are we getting THF?

If anyone knows anything at all about this I'd love to know.

I am sure we will get it, its one of the more highly asked for jobs. As for when there has been no info about it yet. The first line of jobs are coming in a few weeks so it may be awhile but never know

I need Ninja and or Samurai ASAP. If I can't have them I'll settle for thief though. Hopefully all it's combos won't have to be behind mobs.

As long as it's still Crowd Control like FFXI. THF is the most fun I've ever had in an MMO. Love CC, Love THF.

Don't Really need THF per-say. Needs a dual wield job for sure. I loved THF while
in XI. I don't have a problem with them being in XIV. Just one thing needs to be left out.

Don't Bring Treasure Hunter in to XIV. Seven Years of speculation as to how something worked wasn't
really needed. I don't know how to word this. just don't do it. Really take the item part out of THF.
Keep the Debuff and hate management parts of THF. those were the great parts of THF.

You have to work with in the Armory system. Something is going to have to be a class. I mite break this out to another
thread. I would believe to make the whole thing work something is going to have to be a class. But what to make a Class
and what to be a job..

Well taking into consideration of a few comments and responses, we will most likely see THF>NIN (or Scout>NIN) in 1-3 updates after the release of 2.0 (maybe longer depending on the number of glitches and major issues that need fixed, along with people needing new endgame content after 2.0s release)

The idea was to bring 1 to 2 new classes before 2.0 (which may or may not change.) and more after 2.0.

Yoshida mentioned more mage classes 1st, but recently asked which classes people would want 1st.

Ranged Mage DD/debuffer
Beast Tamer/Summoner Buffer DD
Scout/Ninja DD

People mainly voted for pet, then ranged mage DD/debuffer, and lastly Dual Wield.

So I would assume a similar level of popularity will be across the other forums, leading Yoshida to work on THF/NIN last (I wanted THF/NIN as well)

Since there has not been a real poll on the issue we could only hope it's included on the up coming poll.

True, it wasn't a poll, but just people stating opinions.

People generally wanted pets, but some of them only said pets, because there was no pet class, and they wouldnt play it.

And out of the 3 options, we need another class capable of healing a group on its own, more than all 3 of these.
CNJ won't be enough on it's own.
Much less another Ranged DD, another DD that uses a pet, and then another DD DWing.
I do agree the game has plenty of melee DD, but I will still vote for the combo I would want the most, and play. (THF over the other 2)
