THF along with RDM were the 2 jobs I enjoyed the most when I played FFXI. I used to do a lot of stuff solo like camping NMs, farming ect & with those 2 jobs I always had fun.
Like anything its personal preference, each to his own.

why not a pet class who heal and dd ?![]()

I think every class should be able to DD and then 1 other role.
But with what Yoshida is doing, it seems we are going the route of , 1 role per class (where MRD may or may not be the only exception.)
I personally am a fan of hybrids, but I doubt SMN will get that level of options.

The only issue with this is they can't make really good hybrid classes.I think every class should be able to DD and then 1 other role.

Sorry guys, theif would be awesome and all but we really need another mage class.
5-2 ratio is bad and getting it 6-2 is even worse.

Yeah we were talkingn about this last night in the Linkshell. I would probably play a theif, but majority (as seen in that other thread) is gonna vote magic. We need a DD that can fill in the gaps, like focus on the light/dark spells again. Or have a summoner/debuff class. something that attacks with their hands from far away!
