Heavy Thrust on DRG job gauge

....So I'm currently leveling DRG and it just now dawned on me...

MCH has Hot Shot on the job gauge.
BRD has Straight Shot on the job gauge.
MNK has Greased Lightning on the job gauge.
SMN has Dreadwyrm Trance on the job gauge.
BLM has Astral Fire/Umbral Ice on the job gauge.

....why in the world is Heavy Thrust not on the DRG job gauge...?

Please address this ASAP. Not only is this inconsistent, but I think it will go a long way to help DRGs who forget to upkeep Heavy Thrust by reminding them that it should be up on their gauge.

Should be a moderately simple fix. Thanks!

Edit: Also Shifu and Jinpu for SAM job gauge.

Mach and Bard aren't on a natural weaponskill rotation and are more a priority system. It's easy to lose the timer. Likewise for Black mages, who have to make a few RNG based priority decisions and having the timer prominently displayed is useful information.

The Dragoon heavy Thrusts after every CT + FT rotation as there is no other non-combo weaponskill that requires fitting.

I'm a bit conflicted on the job gauge, but I agree that it would be better if all maintenance buffs should be in there, maybe shifu and jinpu kinda gets away because of the Sen, but heavy trust is honestly not so different from straight/hot shot

It isn't in the job gauge, because it is the starter skill from his 11 GCD skill rotation. Fixed position, no need to display it seperatly.

The whole point in a job gauge is to easily be able to see buffs on rotation. It wouldn't hurt to have it there. The problem with gauges at this point is they don't show you everything that you should be keeping track of on a job anyway

It would definitely be nice to have it on there particularly for AOE pulls where you're spamming sonic thrust combo and only half watching for it to fall off. Like Remedi said, it doesn't matter if it's "the first skill" you use, if it's a maintenance buff then it should be on the gauge.

To be honest I was disappointed that things like Firestarter and Thundercloud aren't reflected on the gauge either.

Until this reminded me I let it fall of sometimes during AoE and don't realize it. Would not be a bad addition.

I really don't see a need for the Heavy Thrust duration to be added to the job gauge, its used before it falls off in our rotation every time. You start your rotation with it, so if it's not up, it should be..., it would just be clutter imo. For AOE pulls HT can fall off if you are not paying attention, or if you even bother to put it up in the first place. I personally can not see buff management on trash pulls as a valid reason to put it in. But, it could have limited benefit, and there is really no reason not to add it I guess aside from clutter. I would prefer they add a toggle, or make it separate from our eyes/lotd bar if they did add it one day.

Im still salty I cant move my MP bar for DRK to my gauge or WS area, as theres 7 other people below that MP bar, who get dragged with it, and if i swap to WHM, id have to redrag the whole group back. But if I bring back a 2nd copy of my own stats, then i have a HP and TP bar covering spots i use for other actions, in order to fit it, and make the MP bar visible.

Was rather pointless not putting DRKs main UI in the gauge bar, but instead a bar which u NEVER have to look at, nor have to get information from... (IDK how many ppl play DRK here or not, but literally, there is 0 benefit seeing the blood gauge. You can NOT make a decision off of seeing how full it is, to make your next set of actions more effective. It literally serves no purpose.)

I plan to level DRK next now that I just got DRG to 70, so I'll watch for that. I just feel like the DRK gauge isn't as pretty as the Oath gauge or the Beast gauge which is sad.
